Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
